Jaye Robinson is the new Chair of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and City Councillor for Ward 15, Don Valley West. In the 2014-2018 City Council term, she served on the Mayor’s Executive Committee and chaired the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee, a $2.7 billion dollar portfolio. Before running for municipal office, Jaye was a senior manager in economic development at the City of Toronto for over 20 years. With an entrepreneurial approach, she successfully merged arts and community building initiatives with economic development strategies to create a vibrant roster of annual events including Nuit Blanche, Summerlicious and Winterlicious.

As TTC Chair, Jaye is focused on delivering innovative solutions to achieve Toronto’s long-term transit goals.
